Melendez
January 8, 1972 – October 5, 2022
Alejandro J. Melendez of Livingston Tx, 50 passed on Wednesday October 05, 2022, at
HCA Healthcare Conroe.
He leaves behind his family, and close friends whom he held as his own.
Alejandro has been a long-time resident of Houston Tx where he was born, raised, and
went to school. After Graduation, Alex or Hondo as known by his loved ones, served in
the United States Marine Corps. Which started with the First Marine Division
Communication Company, Wire Platoon in Camp Pendleton CA, to the deserts of
Mogadishu Somalia, "Operation Restore Hope". He served with Honor. He pursued a
career in being a Peace Officer, which led him to the path of Prison Guard where he
worked for the TDCJ Polunsky Unit in Livingston, TX.
Alejandro had a passion for helping others and would not hesitate to step up if in need.
Skilled in mechanics and all things electrical, he extended a helping hand to assist, fix
and figure out what was needed to get the job done.
He enjoyed the simple things in life and loved his family dearly.
He will be missed and forever thought of by those who loved him most.
The family would like to thank the Doctors and Nurses at VA Hospital
