Arcurtis Parker was born to the union of Rebecca Spencer and Calvin Johnson on February 6, 1937 in Columbus, Mississippi. She moved to Chicago, IL at an early age and attended Gillepse Grammar school, and graduated from Fenger High School. She accepted Christ at a young age. She met and married Thomas Parker and to this union, 6 children were born. Denise Donelson has 1 son, 4 granddaughters, and 2 great-granddaughters. Sharon Parker has 2 daughters and 3 grandchildren, Jerome (Toni) Parker has 2 children and 1 grandchild. Daryl (Laura)Parker has 4 children and 10 grandchildren. Paul (Diane) Parker has 2 children and 5 grandchildren. Adrienne Parker has 2 sons and 2 grandsons.

Arcurtis Parker worked as a home healthcare giver at Presidential Pavilion Nursing Home for 30 years. She was a member of Bethlehem Star Baptist Church in Chicago, IL. Her longtime friend Veronica Waddell will be performing the eulogy.

She moved to Houston, Texas in 2014 where all 6 of her children reside today. She transitioned to her heavenly home on May 25, 2022, while in her home in Spring, Texas.

Proceeding her in death is her parents Rebecca and Calvin Johnson, her husband Thomas Parker, a brother Johnny Spencer and a sister Aramae Spencer and 2 granddaughters Rena Jordan and Ta'Neesha Parker. Her memories will be cherished by her loyal and loving family along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
