Ardena Kaili Kulani Chang Williams

December 20, 1966 – November 6, 2023

Ardena was born in Los Angeles, California on December 20, 1966 and passed away on Monday November 6, 2023 at her home in Spring, Texas.  As a child, her family relocated to Spring where she graduated from McCullough High School and eventually raised her family in her adopted hometown. Dena had a large network of friends and neighbors who will miss her infectious laughter and flair for the dramatic in storytelling. She was generous with love, kindness, and laughter. She was known for helping anyone who needed a hand up, no judgements, no questions asked. Her greatest accomplishment was her son Anthony and his four beautiful children. Those who knew Dena knew of her love of her Hawaiian roots and family. She spent many summers with family in Hawaii. She was Ohana.

She is survived by her son, Anthony Schmidt, four beautiful grandchildren, and numerous relatives in Hawaii.  She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Grant E. Williams, mother Rhonda K. Chang, and father Melvin H. Chang. A memorial service is pending following cremation per her wishes.
