Audrey is survived by sons Edward Joseph, Jr, (Lisa) Farkas of OK, and Douglas Glenn (Candace Irene) Farkas of FL, Sister Dottie Gill, of LA. Her brother Bill Newsom, of Texas Grandsons Joshua Phillip Farkas, of FL, Eddie Farkas of OK, Granddaughters Amber Nicole (Charlie) Hayes of Ga, Holly Farkas, of Texas, Julian Thompson, of Texas. Great Grand-children Brentley Hayes, Paxton Hayes, Addie Townsend and Matt Townsend. Elayne and Lamar Pitman, Texas her dear friends of over 46 years.

She was preceded in death by her Loving Husband of 56 years, and her mother Geneva Gill.

Audrey Merle was born on January 21, 1943, to Geneva Gill in New Orleans.  She attended Gillis High School in Lake Charles LA.  She was devoted to her husband and it was love at first site, they met at Chennault Air Force base. They married July 16, 1960.  He was the apple her eyes, and they continued to be un-wavering for 56 yrs., She longed for him after he passed away.   She Loved her children and especially her grandchildren.

She loved and took care of many cats, they considered them children. She also enjoyed Genealogy.

At her request she was cremated, and will be put with her husband at the National Cemetery in Keithville, LA. At a later date.
