Barbara Gifford of Shepard, TX passed away in her home on October 31, 2021 at the age of 61. Barbara
was born on July 7, 1960 in East Saint Louis, IL to Carl and Myrtle Rivers Barbara had a love of Elvis
Presley, nature scenes, her family, and friends. She was loved by many and loved them even more.
Barbara will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her children Ruth Garcia(Oliver Cortes), Charles Smith, and Pamela Cacho-Rivera
(Jonathan Cacho) her two grandchildren Tiffany Smith and Brandon Cacho, all of Kansas City, KS, her
sister Donna Rivers (John Pond) and Aunt Brenda Johnson both of Houston. TX.
She was preceded in death by her parents Carl and Myrtle Rivers, her husband Charles E Smith, and a
daughter Patricia Smith.
A memorial service will be held at a future date in Kansas City, KS after cremation.
