Benjamin (Benny) Roland Delgadillo, 67, originally of Port Arthur, Texas passed away in Houston, Texas, Tuesday, October 5, 2021.

Benny was born on June 27, 1954 in Port Arthur, Texas to Santos and Juanita Delgadillo.  Growing up in Port Arthur with a large family, he was always the life of the party.  He loved sports, music and people.  He didn't know a stranger and  could make friends with anyone.  He worked at Texaco refinery for many years and during this time would DJ often at many local events in Port Arthur.  After leaving Texaco, he opened and managed a successful Car Wash business before moving to Houston where he worked as a car salesman.  His "gift for gab" earned him top salesman often.  Benny eventually left the car business to become a full-time dad to his youngest daughter, Alysabeth, whom he lovingly nicknamed "peanut".

Benny is preceded in death by his parents Santos and Juanita, brothers Michael Sr. and Mark and nephew Michael Jr..  He is survived by his loving fiancé Betty Ponciano, children Monica and husband Alejandro Vallejo, Benjamin Jr., and Alysabeth.  He is also survived by his 3 grandchildren, Sophia, Mia, and Will, brothers Daniel, Charlie, Santos Jr. and wife Michaele, Joe and wife Linda, and sisters, Rosemary Wiley and husband Chris, Sona Hollier and husband Fred, and Carolyn Morgan and husband Mike, and a host of nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express their sincere thanks for the prayers and well wishes during and after this difficult time.  There will be a gathering of family and friends held in Benny's honor at Graceful Memorial Chapel located at 3160 Brownie Campbell Rd. Houston, Texas 77038 on Friday, November 12th, 2021.
