Obituary

Betty Lou Fletcher Runnels Blincoe, 74, passed away peacefully on January 22, 2021 surrounded by loved ones at her home in Montgomery County Texas.  She was born in 1946 in Jacksonville, Texas to Luther and Margie Fletcher.  She is preceded in death by both parents and her younger sister Nellie Hahn.  She leaves behind 2 brothers: Robert Fletcher and Benjamin Fletcher and her 5 daughters: Tammie Dunn, Rebecca Baker and husband Larry, Robin Hopper and her husband Jeff, Catherine Runnels-Joseph and her husband Morven, Cheryl Gardner and her husband Brian,  13 Grandchildren and  25 Great Grandchildren.  The hole left by her absence is impossible to fill.

After graduating High School in Conroe, Texas she went on to raising family while waitressing and retail management.  Betty spent her time enjoying every minute with family, fishing, gardening, canning and baking.  "Granny Betty" looked forward to holidays and gatherings so she could bake everybody's favorite food.  She had the biggest heart and would give anything she had to make someone else's life better.

At Betty's request no service will be held.  Her wishes were for us all to remember her amazing grace in memories that we hold dear to our hearts.  In lieu of flowers, you can donate to her favorite charity: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at www.St.Jude.org    You may write on her timeline at Graceful Memorial Chapel in Houston, Texas at www.gracefulmemorialchapel.com
