IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Brandon
Splawn
July 9, 1981 – December 21, 2025
Brandon Marshall Splawn, age 44, of Cypress, Texas, passed away on Sunday,
December 21, 2025. He was born in Houston, Texas, on July 9, 1981, to Craig Splawn
and Sheryl Spradley.
Brandon graduated from Mayde Creek High School in 1999. He proudly served four
years in the United States Army in Oklahoma before establishing a successful career in
Information Technology. He completed the majority of his college education through
DeVry University and earned multiple professional certifications that expanded his
experience and knowledge in the field. For the past six years, Brandon worked at
TMHCC, where he was highly respected by colleagues for his unwavering dedication to
excellence, reliability, kindness, and positive attitude. Known as the "techy" in the family,
Brandon was always ready to help solve any technical problem, no matter how small.
Above all else, Brandon treasured time spent with his family and friends. He was a
devoted Texans and Astros fan and could often be found in his garage cheering on his
favorite teams. He enjoyed life's simple pleasures, swimming and playing basketball in
the pool, neighborhood walks, shooting darts in the garage, singing karaoke, and, more
recently, focusing on health, fitness, and CrossFit. Brandon was a lifelong Superman
fan and was affectionately nicknamed "Supaman" by his friends and daughters, a name
proudly displayed through a Superman tattoo on his right forearm.
Brandon was a loving husband and an incredibly devoted father. He had a natural ability
to make others smile and laugh, leaving a lasting impression on everyone he met. His
presence, love, and humor will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Kelcey; his cherished daughters, Kailey Norris (KK),
Kailey Dove (kbug), and Brinley Splawn (Boo); his mother, Sheryl Cole; his father, Craig
Splawn, and stepmother, Patricia Splawn; his brother, Ryan Splawn, and sister-in-law
Jeanette Splawn, and their daughters Sofia and Natalie; his stepsister, Michelle Bond,
and her husband Steve Bond, their daughter, Taylor Bond, and son, Dylan Bond, and
his wife Katie; his grandmother, Janie Jackson (Nana); his brother-in-law and sister-in-
law, Kevin and Jolynn Willis, and their daughters Jaclyn, Makayla, and Abigail; his
brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Kameron and Devon Willis; along with countless other
family members and dear friends.
