Carlton Ray Parker, affectionately known to family as Pookey or Papaw Pookey, passed away on March 5, 2021 at the age of 58, in Houston, TX. Carlton was born July 17, 1962, in Houston, Texas, to Ray and Shelby Parker.  After moving to Waller, Texas in 1971, Carlton went to school, and eventually graduated from Waller ISD. After marrying and having two sons, Carlton worked for Union Pacific Railroad for 31 years. Regardless of his many hobbies, Carlton's favorite pastime was doing anything with his boys. Whether they were playing in the yard, fixing something, bowling, shooting pool, or his personal favorite, fishing, Carlton loved being a dad; his sons were his best friends. 

 Carlton leaves behind his two sons, Richard Parker (Amber) and Casey Parker; mother Shelby Parker; brother Robert Parker; lifelong friend Brenda Parker; niece Ashley Sandlin; nephew Tanner Parker; and four grandchildren: Emma, Jaxson, Aislinn, and Rhylinn. 

 He was preceeded in death by his father, Ray; brothers, Kevin and Richard; and sister, Kelly Dean.
