Mom was born Hortense Sepulveda on Septemper 6,1939 in Gonzales, TX to
Fernando Sepulveda and Micaela Mendez Sepulveda.
Mom received the name '' Carmen ''from her godparents.
At her baptism. Carmen is the name she preferred.
Carmen {Mom} was the first child born to Fernando and Micaela Supulveda.
Mom lived and worked in Gonzales until she received a promotion for saving a baby's life.
Then she moved to Houston, TX ultimately moving to Magnolia , TX.
Mom loved to cook, she was an excellent cook.
Mom loved nature once she had taught wild squirrels to eat from her hand she loved all God's Creatures.
She enjoyed music and dancing, and reading was a passion for mom.
She would travel everywhere in her books. She would keep her mind focused by doing crossword puzzles.
She would always say it kept your mind learning and thinking.
Mom may not have been mobile, but she was never without things to keep her busy.
She was a Strong minded person. She was always Honest, good or bad, she didn't sugarcoat life.
She would always say '' WELL THATS THE TRUTH ''.
Mom loved us all.
She would always say GOD sees all and knows everything.
Hortense -Carmen, Tencha, Daughter - Sister -Mom- Grandma - Granny - Great Grandma . Mom carried many names.
The most important name is Child of Christ an Angel
We love you and will miss you until our time to join you. Its not Good Bye, its Until We Meet Again.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, March 24th, 2022 located at Magnolia Cemetery, 18525 N. 6th street, Magnolia, Texas 77354. Visitation at graveside starts at 1:00 pm with a service beginning at 1:30pm. Flowers should be delivered to the gravesite.
