Carol Ann West, of Katy, Texas, passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2023 surrounded by loved ones.

She was born July 10, 1949 in Houston, Texas to parents Richard Oliver Mitchell and Peggy McGuire Harris.

She was introduced by a friend, Cheryl Gordon to the love of her life, Charles "Stormy" West and they were later married on March 9, 1979.

She will best be remembered for her lovely smile and compassionate heart. She found joy in giving to others and expressed it best during her favorite holiday of the year "Christmas". Carol loved being with family, loving her cats, shopping, bowling, game shows and playing computer games and cards with her family.

She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Charles West, brother, Richard Lee Mitchell, and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her father Richard O. Mitchell, mother Peggy Harris, and sister, Sherry Sybert.

Graveside services in honor of Carol Ann West are set for 11:00 am, Saturday, August 12, 2023 at Strong Memorial Park Cemetery in Slocum with Rev. Charles Kimble officiating.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at 11:00am at Strongs Memorial Park, Hwy 294/Haymaker Rd, Elkhart, Texas 75839
