Carole A Aus passed away on January 4, 2023, after a long battle with metastatic breast
cancer. She was 80 years old.
It would be wrong to say that Carole lost her battle because she never stopped fighting. No
matter how sick she was, she was always determined. When anyone else would have broken,
Carole stayed strong. Through her, we know what resilience and perseverance truly look like.
There was no quit in Carole. Just because she is no longer here, it doesn't mean she lost her
fight.
Carole is survived by her two children, Walter Wilson and Laurie Wilson, her husband Troy
Blackmer and granddaughter Rachel Means.
Carole didn't want a funeral service. Her ashes will be spread next to her late father, Thomas
Ketter in St Petersburg, FL.
