Carole Eileen Kalish passed away peacefully in her home on November 1, 2024, at the age of 82.

Born on October 13, 1942, to William and Bea Buttorf, Carole lived a full and dedicated life. She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Max Kalish, her son, Steven Eckert, and her parents.

She is survived by her daughter, Heather Collins, and her son, Ken Eckert. Carole was also a grandmother to eight grandchildren: Steven Eckert, Michael Eckert, Grace Bennefeld, Kerry Kalish, Jessica Brooks, Lauren Hilkhuijsen, Zach Brooks, and Sarah Eckert, as well as 16 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Patricia Batten.

Carole will be remembered by her family for her impact on their lives. A private memorial will be held in her honor.
