Charlie Harold Skinner, loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend passed away peacefully in his home in Hockley on September 6th, 2022. Charlie was 80 years old. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Patricia, his daughter Rendy Elizalde and her husband Rene Elizalde, granddaughters Olivia and Audrey, son Ryan Skinner and his wife Jennifer Skinner, grandchildren Caitlin, Cole, Sarah, Asher, Rylinn, Isaiah, and Jaedyn. Many nieces and nephews and family both biological and of the heart that he held very dear.

He is preceded in death by his parents Charlie Richard Skinner and Ruby Mae Kirkpatrick, siblings John R Skinner, Forest Eugene Skinner "Strut", Dorothy Harrison, Patsy Jane Stewart, and Joe Skinner.

A celebration of life will be held at Becker Road Baptist Church, 18006 Becker Rd. Hockley, TX on Saturday, September 24th, 2022, at 11:00am.

The service will be led by Pastor Dr. Mike Taylor. Honorary pallbearers: J Brent Hargrave, Thomas Hargrave, Rene Elizalde, Lee Ethridge, Gary Crabtree, Harvey Allen Park, Rodney Hayes. Music will be performed by Denise Southard Wendel.

Celebration at the church, following service, to enjoy fellowship and lunch.
