Obituary

Cherie Kay Iles Lansdon went to be with the lord on Sunday, May 16, 2021, at the age of 61, with her loving husband Jimmy Ray Lansdon by her side.

She was born January 31, 1960 in Beaumont, Texas to Larry Gene Iles and Linda Iles Owen. She later had three amazing Children, who she loved very much. She then married the love of her life Jimmy in 2004 and moved to Splendora, TX where she lived her last moments. She worked as a Special Education teacher for Klein I.S.D, and had a passion for the children she taught.

Cherie lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; chatting with friends, spending time with family, caring for her animals, being at the beach or on the water, enjoying a great flea market or Auction, and asking Jimmy to make stuffed Peppers. She had a genuine love for Christ, adored her husband, and loved her family. Cherie was always so happy, loving, and full of life. She loved everyone she met, and everyone loved her just as much. She will always be remembered for this, along with her smile, motherhood, love and free spirit, and her commitment to Faith.

She is preceded in death by her Father, Larry Gene Iles; Grandmothers, Delma Lea Wheat (Bass) and Ruth McCuistion; and Grandfather, Harvel Benjamin McCuistion.
She is survived by her Mother; Linda Iles Owen; Husband, Jimmy Ray Lansdon; Children, Roy David Crush III and wife Jean Crush, Christina Kay Schmitz and husband Jason Schmitz, Natalie Dawn Austin and husband Nicholas Austin Sr.; Grandchildren, Alexis Schmitz, Roy Crush IV, Cameron Schmitz, Jayci Schmitz , Nicholas Austin Jr., Nicholas Kallaher, and Dominic Kallaher; Sisters, Ruth Iles Brown, Amy Lea Iles and Kathryn Iles Cowman; Sister-In-Law Betty Lansdon; Nieces, Sarah Cowman, Rae Cowman, Gilland Brown, Joni Stanley, and Cheryl Lindsey; Great Nieces, Jessica Lindsey and Kennedy Graves; and Great Great Niece, Riley Delgado, and numerous cousins and friends who loved her very much.
