Christopher "Chris" Kelly Giles of The Woodlands, TX passed away at the age of 29. He was born on Clark Airbase in Angeles City, Philippines on August 13, 1990 to Albert Giles Jr. and Emma Giles. Chris graduated from The Woodlands High School in 2008.
Chris loved watching sports. He was a huge fan of the Houston Texans. He especially loved the Texans players J.J. Watt and DeAndre Hopkins. One of his favorite hobbies was competing in the Fantasy Football league with his close friends and family. Chris always looked forward to their weekly competitions.
Chris had a passion for video games at a young age. Growing up, his home would be full of kids waiting for their turn to play next. Everyone always admired his effortless ability to be a phenomenal player at any game that he tried.
Christopher loved reading books. He always had a new book arriving in the mail. It was remarkable how easily he could finish a thousand-page book.
Chris took pride in being a manager at the Cinemark theater. He absolutely loved the community at his workplace and always looked forward to his shifts. Chris made so many close friends at Cinemark that he considered his best friends and family.
Chris was the best son, brother, grandson, cousin, and friend anyone could ask for. He was so special. Chris greeted everyone with a big hug and an even bigger smile that made you feel comfort and warmth. He lived to make his loved ones happy, and his happiness was contagious. Chris treated everyone like family, and he loved everyone full heartedly.
Chris is survived by his parents, Albert Truitt Giles Jr. and Emma Giles; sisters, Stacy Gayle Giles and Nikki Andrea Giles; stepmother, Wendy Giles; stepbrother, Roberto Carlos Cruz; grandparents, Albert Giles Sr and Ivis Giles; uncle, Adam Giles and his wife, Maribel Giles; uncle, Anthony Giles and his wife, Erika Giles; aunt, Rosa Leitch and her husband Kenneth Leitch; cousins, Donna-Leah Leitch, Christopher W. Giles, Mark Giles, Brandon Giles, Adam Giles, Andrew Giles, Austin Stokes, and Kayla Shows; and his beloved dog, Brutus.
The funeral service will be held at The Woodlands Methodist Church in the Harvest Worship Room on Monday, December 30, 2019 at 10:00 AM. The family encourages attendees to wear Texans gear in honor of Chris' love for the Houston Texans.
