Christopher L. Stephens, 64, of Pasadena, TX received his heavenly passport and departed this life on Saturday, September 4, 2021, at MD Anderson Medical Center in Houston, TX.  He was born to Earl Stephens and Sylvia Stephens-Brown of Rosepine, LA.

After graduating high school, Chris moved to Pasadena, TX and began working as a machinist. Being meticulous and with the precision needed to master his trade, he dedicated himself to his 46-year career.

In October 1981, he met the love of his life, Jeannie L. Bennett, and together for 40 years until his passing.

Chris was preceded in death by his father, Earl Stephens.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Jeannie L. Stephens, of Pasadena, TX and his mother Sylvia Stephens-Brown of Rosepine, LA.

He is also survived by three daughters: Hannah Bunker (Aaron) of Cypress, TX; Abigail Gutierrez (Gus) of Conroe, TX; Rebekah Horne (Matt) of St. Louis, MO; one sister: Eunice VanPelt (Jerry) of Deer Park, TX; two brothers: Dwight Stephens (Sandy) of Warrensburg, MO; Grady Stephens (Nancy) of Rosepine, LA; five grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.

Homegoing Service will be held Saturday, September 11, 2021, 11am at The Church Triumphant, 1030 Strawberry Road, Pasadena, TX 77506 with Rev. Jason Sciscoe and Rev. Arliss Glass officiating.  Visitation will be 10:00am – 11:00am at the church.

Immediately following the service at the church, Chris will be taken back to his childhood home in Rosepine, LA with a graveside service being held at Rosepine Cemetery with an approximate arrival at 4:00pm with Rev. George Lee Glass officiating.
