Colleen Ann Honn Crowell, 89, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother went home to be with her Savior on January 17, 2024.  She was the oldest of five children born to Homer and Tiny Honn on November 17, 1934 in Ponca City, OK. She grew up in Oklahoma but lived most of her adult life in Shreveport, La. where she was a teacher, real estate agent and an active member of the Southern Hills Church of Christ.  She graduated from Blackwell HS in 1953 and Central State University in Oklahoma in 1957.

Colleen married Robert "Bob" Ray Crowell in 1957 and was married for 51 years before he passed in 2009.   They were blessed with three children, Kelly (Jack) Serpas, Kari (Bryan) Bury and Kasey (Janice) Crowell, twelve grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.

Bob and Colleen loved being a part of the "Sojourners" after retirement.  They traveled in their motor home across America ministering to churches and Christian Universities.  When they weren't traveling, they were at the camp with friends and family riding 4-wheelers and telling stories around the campfire.  This quickly became the meeting place for Thanksgiving, and this tradition has been passed down for two generations.  Colleen loved serving God, spending time in her yard, making homemade greeting cards, and playing and WINNING at Hand & Foot.  She was a delight to be around and will be missed.

Colleen was preceded in death by her husband, Bob; parents, Homer & Tiny Honn; brother, Craig Honn; sister, June Davis; and grandchildren, Kasey Sue, Kory and Kobe Crowell.

The family wishes to express their deep appreciation to the staff and caregivers at Reunion Court in the Woodlands for their care and kindness to our "CoCo".

A family "Celebration of Life" will be held at a later date.
