Born with malnutrition, she was pronounced dead, three times, the first year of her life. But God had a plan for this baby girl. At the age of two, her family moved to Detroit, Michigan. It was at that time in 1953, she became a Detroiter, in every way possible.

She went to Higgins Elementary, Wilson Junior High and Southwestern High School.  She graduated with honors and was a member of the National Honor Society.  At the age of 15, she accepted Christ and was called into the ministry. She attended Southern Bible College, in Houston, Texas where she earned her four-year degree, in three years and three months.  A record that still stands, in the college.

After graduation, she Evangelized, with her sister, Sandy,  preaching and teaching, for several years. Continuing to reach others for Christ. We worked under the leadership of Pastor Happy Darneal at Faith Assembly of God. She worked at Cooper Cameron for a number of years before retiring. Connie was always willing to give of herself to help others and lead them to Christ.

After retiring, she live with her sister, Sandra L. Ott, in Houston, Texas, as her caregiver. Connie  continued praying for others, even as she herself was ill. She will be greatly missed. Yet we hold fast to our reunion on that great triumph morning , we we shall be together forevermore.
