Montgomery - Connie Jean Moonen, 74, of Montgomery, TX, passed to her heavenly home on November 4, 2021.

She was born on March 5, 1947, in Lubbock Texas and moved to Odessa at a young age. Connie married William F. Moonen on August 16, 1982. Connie was a longtime employee of the University of Texas, Permian Basin. She lived in Gardendale, TX, until 2019 when she moved to Montgomery, Texas, so she could be closer to her family. Although closer to her family, she missed the country life in Gardendale tremendously.

She is preceded in death by her husband and her parents, Ray and Betty Thomas.

Connie is survived by her sisters, Carol Theesfield, of Odessa, and Carrie Nelson and husband, Wes Nelson, of Onalaska, her son, Thomas Delaney, his life partner, Laura Fu of Houston, and her daughter, Terri Delaney, her life partner, Linda Denny, of Houston.

Connie is also survived by her grandchildren, Jordan Delaney and her husband, James Miller, of Bedias, TX and great-grandsons, Jayce and Jackson Miller of Bedias, TX, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
