Obituary

Curtis Patrick "Pat" Rogers was born in Pasadena, TX on
January 29, 1946, and passed away peacefully on March 25,
2023. Pat was a 32-year employee of Houston Lighting and
Power. He was an avid reader, football and baseball fan,
specifically the Houston Oilers, Texas Longhorns, and Houston
Astros. Pat also loved spending every day with his best friend, a
rat terrier dog named R2.
Pat was preceded in death by his father and mother Paul
and Jeanette Rogers, his brother Mike Rogers, and his sister
Paula Blank. Pat is survived by his family, who were the focus and
attention of his life. In 1965, he married his high school
sweetheart, Patricia Rogers, with whom he created a beautiful
family. He was a loving father who left behind three children,
Shelley Lingo (Joey) of Huffman, TX, Jay Rogers (Brandee) of
Friendswood, TX, and Kim White (Vernon) of Huffman, TX. He
was a wonderful grandfather who left behind seven grandchildren,
Tori Leiker (Nicholas), Matthew Lingo, Travis Lingo, Shelby
Stauffer (Kyle), Makenzie Bahr (Jake), Kara Lingo, and Megan
White. He was also devoted to his three great-grandchildren,
Sawyer Leiker, Blake Leiker, and Lincoln Stauffer.
The family will be holding a memorial service at a later
date. In lieu of flowers, please feel free to make a donation in
Pat's memory to the charity of your choice. The family also thanks
you for your continued thoughts and prayers during this time.
