Dale Gene Jackson, 73, of Fulshear, TX, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on April 3, 2022. He was born in Weslaco, TX on November 10, 1948 to Harold and Lucille Jackson. Dale lived in Texas his whole life. Dale, his wife and children lived in McAllen, TX before moving to Houston in 1991.
Dale was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, the beach and the sun. He loved to explore the great outdoors. He loved music, life, and his family. Dale provided a vacation home for his family in Crystal Beach, TX which he and his family enjoyed immensely. Dale and Janis loved to vacation in New England antiquing, eating lobster, and exploring the beautiful surroundings. He also loved to live it up in Las Vegas with friends and family.
Dale was a business owner and President of FastSigns of Houston. He had a great work ethic and a desire to be the best at his craft. His diligence and master craft are his legacy. Dale was an Astros, Oilers/Texans, and Rockets fan. He loved Houston. He always put everyone first and touched so many lives with his loving and caring heart.
Dale is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 46 years, Janis Schuy Jackson, his son Chris Jackson (wife Nicole), and daughter Heather Blackmore (husband Jonathan). He was a proud "Pop" to three loving Grandchildren: Kara Jackson, Hope Jackson, and Avery Blackmore. He is also survived by his two brothers, Gary Jackson, Allen Jackson, (wife Donna), three nephews and four nieces. He is preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Lucille Jackson.
Dale will be greatly missed by many and never forgotten. Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Dementia Society of America in his honor. Dale's family would like to thank A-Med Hospice of Houston for the loving care of Dale during the last days of his life.
