Obituary

Dale William Wallace, age 68, passed away on March 5th, 2022, at his home in Cypress, Texas. Dale is preceded in death by his father Neil Wallace, mother Vivian Wallace, and older brother Gary Wallace. Dale is survived by his son, Thomas Wallace, his spouse, Barbara Wallace; his younger brother Keith Wallace; his younger sister Kaye and her husband Buc Schimmel; his younger sister Diane and her husband DougWatermolen; and his late older brother Gary's, wife Sue Wallace; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Dale was born to Neil and Vivian Wallace in Green Bay, Wisconsin, where he spent his adolescence. After graduating from West High School in 1971, he went on to earn his B.S. Degrees in both Accounting and Insurance from the University of Wisconsin in Madison. He spent his early career working for the Wisconsin Department of Revenue in California, where he would earn a Master's Degree in Taxation at Golden Gate University. While working in California, he began working as a Corporate Tax Accountant, where he met the woman he would marry and start a family. A couple of years after his son was born, he would move his family to Cypress, Texas, to pursue a job opportunity.

In Texas, Dale would make many close friends. He also kept up with many of his friends from Wisconsin, California. Although many of his family still live in Wisconsin, he made an effort to get back to his hometown in Green Bay, Wisconsin, to visit his growing family and friends yearly or at least every other year.

When not working, Dale would enjoy spending time with his family and friends, watch- ing sports, especially his beloved Green Bay Packers. He maintained an active lifestyle well into middle age, swimming laps at the local YMCA pool, riding his bicycle through the neighborhood, constantly trying to beat his own personal best times on his daily 5 mile runs, which he completed in about an hour.

Dale spent time learning about Meditation, and reading Scriptures while expanding his spirituality. So many will miss him, but we rejoice knowing he is now with his parents and older brother Gary in God's Kingdom in Heaven.
