David Ray Boutin, 65, passed away peacefully on April 17, 2021, surrounded by loved ones at his home in Spring, Texas. He was born on November 12, 1955 in Baytown, Texas to Julian and Rosa Boutin. David is preceded in death by his father Julian Boutin. He leaves behind his wife Lesa Boutin; daughters; Jeanette Ragusa, Michelle Messimer, Kaylie Malone, and sons DJ Malone, and Keith Malone; David is survived by his mother Rosa Boutin, siblings Diane McKinney, Howard Boutin, Leroy Boutin, Lonnie Boutin, Michael Boutin, and Delia Jimenez, and he had eight grandchildren as well as an extended loving family.

David served in the navy aboard the US Littlerock. He was an ordained minister and a carpenter by trade. He spent his spare time fishing and metal detecting. He enjoyed big family gatherings filled with gumbo and games. Though he'd given it up, he'd been known to do a little dumpster diving. And "Poppy" loved attending his grandchildren's ball games, dance recitals, and just hanging out and watching a movie together.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 8, 2021, at 2:00 pm at Vine Life Christian Fellowship located at 910 Old Atascocita Road, Huffman, TX 77336.
