A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 7, 2023 with a viewing starting at 11:00am held and hosted by East Haven Funeral Home on behalf of Graceful Memorial Chapel, the location of the service and floral arrangements are to be delivered to 716 College Ave, South Houston, Texas 77587.  The funeral service will begin at 12:00pm followed by the burial at 2:00pm in the South Park Cemetery, 1310 N Main, Pearland, Texas 77581.  In honor of Momma, the family invites you to dress comfortable and wear your cowboy boots.

Deborah "Debbie/Momma" Ann Kennedy 68, of Houston, Texas passed away on Sunday July 2nd 2023. She was born on April 2nd 1955 in Houston, Texas to Sal and Mary Lou Luxardo.

Debbie was best known for her loving nature and pride for her children and grandchildren. She always moved with a purpose toward her goals and never let her challenges slow her down as many have fond memories of her keeping up with her peers, casts and all. In school, Debbie participated in ROTC, was a drum major and a member of the color guard. As a parent, Debbie will be remembered for her resourcefulness even in the most difficult times, she was an avid reader, coffee drinker and loved to dance.

Debbie is preceded in death by her parents Sal and Mary Lou Luxardo and son James Matthew Pearson.

She was survived by her sisters Barbara Burntsen and Bonnie Bent, brother Reno Luxardo, children Cherise Hanf, Jess Kennedy, Joseph Pearson, Jeannette Kroupa, and grandchildren, Jakob, Jazmine, Julia, Sierra, Dathan, Maddie, Sophie, Alaina, Jordan, Jayden, Adaliyah, Eli, and June.
