Dennis Michael Kinser, 68, passed away on August 27, 2021 from complications
related to Covid-19. He was born on January 15, 1953, the second of 4 children
born to Paul and Rosalie Kinser, in St. Louis, MO. He is preceded in death by both
of his parents and his younger sister, Brenda Kay Hudson.
Dennis is survived by his wife of 47 years, Karen and their son, Nathan Michael, 38 and his life partner Mary Jenkins, as well as his two brothers, Paul Jr. and his wife Margaret and Kevin and his wife Rebecca. He had seven nieces and nephews: Matthew, Michael and Rachel and Jeremy, Timothy and Gregory and Sarah, Neil, Lydia and Nicholas as well as 16 great nieces and nephews.
Dennis and Karen met in high school and married in 1974. He received his
Bachelor Degree in Architecture from Washington University in 1986 and in 1987
they moved to Houston, TX where Dennis was able to continue to follow his
passion for architecture. His first job in Houston was as part of the team that
renovated the Astro Dome. He went on the be a Project Manager for two school
districts as they renovated many of their schools and built several new sports stadiums.
In retirement he enjoyed drawing and painting, landscaping, a cool dip in the pool or playing games with friends and family.
He was an active member of the Cy-Fair Church of Christ.
A celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later time.
