Donald Henry Harris  81

Peacefully passed away on 12-19-2020 with loved ones at his side in The Woodlands Texas.

He was born in Burlington N.C. on 7-24-1939 from his father Cleveland Henry Harris, and mother Francis Alberta (Tickle) Harris.  He was a twin to the deceased Daniel Harris and a brother to the deceased Robert L. Harris.  He is preceded in death by his brother Billy J. Harris, his sister-in-law Daisey Ann (Ward) Harris, as well as 3 nephews and nieces.

Donald received his High School diploma in Piano through the American College of Musicians (NGPT).  After High School, he went on to earn a Bachelor's of Arts degree in music from Elon University in N.C. and a Master's degree in music from the University of North Carolina.  Those music degrees involved majors in piano and organ, with strong emphasis being given to the areas of music theory and composition.

Donald was an accomplished pianist, composer, teacher/instructor.  His greatest passion was music and piano from elementary school throughout his entire life.  He enjoyed teaching and passing on his talents and the love of music to students of all ages.

Donald was passionate about life and was well known as a wonderful and compassionate man.
