Donald Louis Lander, 83, passed away peacefully on Wedneday, August 18, 2021 due to complications from Lewy Body Dementia.  He was born on April 8, 1938 in Dallas, TX to Iola and Philip Lander.  He is preceded in death by his wife Sue Lander after 51 years of marriage and his sister, Phyllis Smith.  Don leaves behind three children; Mike Lander, Stacey Burch, Jason Lander, wife Laura Lander and three grandchildren, Jamie Burch, Evan Lander and Lyla Lander.  He is also survived by his girlfriend Laurie Devers.

Don spent his later years enjoying his home on Lake Livingston.  He spent countless hours working in his garage whether it was fixing the jet skis or building something or just "organizing".   He was a wonderful father and POP.  We will miss him dearly.

Because of COVID-19, the memorial service to celebrate Don's life is postponed until it is safe to do so.
