Dorinda Lee Haynes, 80, passed away peacefully on May 8, 2020 in Splendora, Texas. She was born on December 14, 1939, in Dayton, Texas to John L. Croft (wife Margaret Croft) and Lucile McClendon (husband Charlie "Nuke" Elton Haynes). She was a loving Wife, Mother, Sister, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother. Dorinda is preceded in death by her husband Bobby "Cowboy" Gene Haynes (65 years of marriage), her parents, and her daughter Melodee Dawn Haynes. She leaves behind her daughter; Harmonee Dusk Vice, husband Robert Vice; Grandchild, Krystal Ainsworth, husband Colt Ainsworth; Great Grandchildren-Brody Ainsworth; Siblings-Jody Penny, husband Larry Penny, and Zoetta Croft; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Dorinda spent her time enjoying every moment with her family, taking care of others, playing with and spoiling her Great Grandson Brody, cooking for family, floral arrangements and crocheting. She loved making huge holiday lunches with Chicken and Dressing, Potato Salad, Bread Pudding, and lots of other goodies to make sure everyone had their favorites. Cowboy and Dorinda were known in their community for throwing a large Pumpkin Carving Party before each Halloween, with over a 100 pumpkins. They were lit up and displayed on Halloween night to drive through when Trick-or Treating.

Dorinda will be laid to rest at Rosewood Funeral Home in Porter, TX with her husband Cowboy. Due to current circumstances, there will not be a service.
