Dorothy Dell Griffin, 85, passed away at home peacefully on August 30, 2021. She was born January 8, 1936, in Louise, TX to Ralph and Mildred Henderson. Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Kenneth Griffin, both her parents, and her daughter Lisa Lynn Kocureck. She leaves behind her daughter, BeLinda Jo Manning, husband Joe; her son, Kenneth Allen Griffin; Four grandchildren, Shannon Marie Hubbard, husband Tim, Robert D.Wayne Crawford, Shyann Nicole Kocureck, and John-Michael Alan Kocureck; and two great granddaughters Taylor and Emma. Dorothy had an extensive support system of sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, and too many friends to name. Dorothy never met a stranger and had many, many life long friends. That truly is her legacy.

Dorothy, known as "Nanny" to most, spent her time enjoying her family, walking the beaches, and thrift shopping. She loved reading and making crafts. Nanny loved to make everyone laugh.

Per her wishes, there will not be a funeral service. She always said she did not want people sitting around crying and sad because of her. She wanted everyone to remember the happy times and her sense of humor. She will be cremated at Graceful Memorial Chapel. www. gracefulmemorialchapel.com
