We regret to announce the passing of Dyann Etalia Frett of Houston, Texas. Dyann passed away surrounded by loved ones on Saturday, January 9, 2021 after a four year battle with ovarian cancer.
Dyann was born on October 26, 1953 to Luella Stout and Antonio Frett in Tortola, British Virgin Islands. Her father Antonio Frett preceded her in death.She relocated to St. Thomas, Virgin Islands at an early age and attend the Frederick Lutheran School, Wayne Aspinall Junior High and the Charlotte Amalie High School.
She is survived by her mother Luella, her children Brian R. Harrigan, Donna M. Creque (Calvert Skeete), and Uland A. Smith (Jennifer Long-Smith), grandchildren Jai'Lynn M. Smith, Noland Smith, Colin L. K. Skeete and Faith Harrigan.
Brothers : Keith Fahie, Antonio Frett, Anthony Kennedy Frett, Gregory Frett, Morgan Frett, Noel Frett and Jeffrey Frett.
Sisters : Joycelyn Fahie Peters and Carol A. Frett.
Step Sisters : Gina Petty Sanders, Olive Petty Cornelius and Merlyn Petty Pickering.
Adopted Sisters: Carmen DeCosta, Marva Thomas-Lake, Rosemarie Frett Callwood
She will be forever remembered by her many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Dyann was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved her role as grandmother. Dyann loved sewing. She made friends everywhere she went and her customers and coworkers loved her as well.
While we grieve her departure, we are relieved that her suffering is over. In accordance with her wishes, we will be holding a memorial service on:
