Edward F Jett Jr. passed away on August 6, 2021. He was born on December 16, 1948 at St Mary's Infirmary in Galveston, Texas. Ed graduated from Hitchcock High School, Hitchcock, Texas in 1967. He served in the United States Air Force for 8 years. Ed went to many Air Force Bases including the following, Peterson AFB in Colorado, where he played trumpet in the Air Force Band. Ed went to Okinawa, for 18 months where he became a Black Belt Instructor in Tae Kwon Do. He went to Vietnam for 14 months. Then to Arizona from there to Thailand for 14 months. Eddie loved playing his many guitars and keyboards, he wrote, composed and sang his music. He was a very talented musician. His favorite musician was Buckethead, a wonderful guitarist. He and his daughter went to several of his concerts. He loved jamming with his musician friends. Ed loved his daughter Juliea Jett, granddaughter Hailey and grandson Haiden Edward.
He is preceded in death by parents, Natalie and Edward F Jett Sr., his loving wife of 46 years Patricia Fessler Jett, brother Louis Paysse Jr, sisters Natalie P. McKinney, Linda Lou James, and Gertrude Meister. He will be truly missed. Ed had many family and friends who loved him. He is survived by his loving daughter Juliea Jett, granddaughter Hailey Cantrell and grandson Haiden Cantrell. Also, sisters Bernadette James of North Richland Hills, Texas and Yvette Jett Presley of Texas City, Texas and brother Randy Jett of Los Angeles, California.
Funeral service will be at Graceful Memorial Chapel 3160 Brownie Campbell Rd. Houston, TX 77038
Ed will be buried at the VA Cemetery 10410 Veterans Dr., Houston, Texas 77038.
