Edward Benjamin Reese Sr., 87, passed away peacefully at his home in Spring, Texas on January 18,2022. Ed was born in Philadelphia, PA and grew up in the Darby area. After his service in the US Navy, he graduated from Temple University followed by the prestigious Wharton School of Business. Ed began his over 40 year career with the Federal Government after graduation. Working for the National Science Foundation in Washington DC, the CIA, the United States Airforce and US Customs. Through his work with the Peace Corps, he was able to travel the world. He loved traveling and bringing home gifts to his children & the love of his life, Mary Ellen, whom he was married to for 55 years. He enjoyed going to the Wildwood New Jersey shore with friends, working on their boats and enjoying the sun & fun filled days. He always loved swimming, soccer, football & being outdoors. Ed was very proud of his family and is survived by his wife Mary Ellen and his children: Ed Jr & wife Bobbie, Perry & wife Amy, Caresse & husband Derek. Along with his three grandsons, Slade, Gunner & Hagen.
