Ella Deloras (Dee) Benthall went home to Jesus on March 31, 2022 at age 81.

Dee was born to Elby Lee and Dorothy Irene Kelley on September 12, 1940 in Cleveland, TX.

Dee met her husband, Kenneth Neil Benthall at Sam Houston High School. They married December 23, 1959 and went on to have 4 children, Kelli, Neil, Michele and Christopher.

In addition to being a dedicated and loving mother, Dee also loved spending time with friends and family and watching Korean romantic comedies on television. Throughout her entire life, she held an unwavering faith in God, which she shared with those who surrounded her.

Dee joins her husband, Kenneth Neil Benthall and her brother Aubrey Lee Kelley in Heaven. She is survived by her daughter Kelli Matthews, husband Freddy; her son Kenneth Neil Benthall; her daughter D. Michele Owen/Hahn, husband Tracey; and her son Christopher Benthall, wife Julie. She is also survived by her sister Tonyia Sue Freeman, husband Jimmy; her brother Thomas Rollins Kelley, wife Veronica and sister-in-law Glenda Kelley. She has 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She has 8 nieces and nephews and 19 great-nieces and nephews.
