Esteban Figueroa Garcia, 59, passed away Wednesday, September 1, 2021 in Houston, TX.

Esteban was born on April 8, 1962 in Fajardo, Puerto Rico to parents Rafael Garcia and Carmen Figueroa.  Esteban grew up and lived in Maunabo, Puerto Rico up until he moved to Houston, Texas in 1980. He married the love of his life, Maria Garcia, and together they created a wonderful family which includes two twin boys, Esteban Jr. and Ernesto Garcia. Esteban was a devoted father and husband that ensured his family had everything they needed, starting with love, laughter and support.

Esteban worked in the Auto Industry for several  decades as a Body Collision Specialist, where he met many great co-workers along the way.  Many who have long lifetime memories with him. He was very passionate about sports, specifically basketball.  The game he taught his sons to play and love. When he was not working, he enjoyed spending time with his family, his perritas  and  many outdoor activities, including fishing, hunting, and cycling. He was very talented in working with his hands and always found something to make things better.  He was an incredible man, always willing to help anyone and a very supportive "coach" at many things in life.  He will be loved by many, and our memories of him will be forever in our hearts.

He was preceded in death by his parents Rafael Garcia and Carmen Figueroa; and his brother Waldemar Garcia.

Esteban is survived by his wife of 32 years, Maria Garcia; his sons Ernesto and Esteban Garcia Jr; his brother, Rafael Garcia, his sister, Angie Garcia; and a number of nieces and nephews.

The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, September 27, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church with a reception to follow with the Garcia Family
