On Wednesday, August 26, 2020, Floyd John Theriot, Jr., loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend, unexpectedly passed away at home in Houston,Tx at the young age of 59.

Floyd was born on December 22, 1960 at St. Mary's Hospital in Port Arthur, TX to Floyd Sr. and Maudry (Broussard) Theriot.

He graduated from Nederland High School and received his Bachelor's of Science in Industrial Technology from Lamar University in Beaumont. He was an entrepreneur and owned and operated his own company, Lab Solutions Inc.

Floyd was charismatic with a passion for dancing, live music, sports and camping. He had a personality, along with a smile, that would brighten any room he entered. He was one of the funny ones - always making people laugh.

Floyd was preceded in death by his father, Floyd Sr., his mother, Maudry, and his brother, Ronnie. He is survived by the mother of his children, Cindy Wiggins; his four children, Kimi, Krista, Zack, and Justin; his six grandchildren, David, Kaiden, Kiera, Skylar, Alex, and Lohgan; his sisters, Karen King and Susan Hinson, his sister-in-law, Charlotte Theriot; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held in September (date undecided) followed by a celebration of life party in Nederland in October (date undecided)
