Geneva Caver Vyvial
November 5, 1935- May 24, 2022
Geneva Vyvial, age 86, of Spring, Texas passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family after a
brief illness. Geneva was born November 5, 1935 in Appleby, Texas and was the daughter of Jacob and
Frances Caver, she was one of six children. She married Charles Vyvial in 1955 who was enlisted in The
Air Force in San Antonio, Texas at the time. Charles and Geneva had four children, two boys and two
girls. She is preceded in death by her husband Charles, sons Michael Vyvial and Patrick Vyvial, and her
daughter Pamela Vyvial. She is also preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
She is survived by her youngest daughter, Kelly Vyvial-Buteaud, her grandson Jacob Buteaud, and
granddaughter Isabelle Buteaud. Those who knew Geneva knew that her grandchildren were the light of
her life.
Visitation will be held June 8, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Graceful Memorial Chapel. A service of
remembrance will be held 11 a.m. following visitation. Interment will follow at Houston National
Cemetery. Reception following the funeral will be held at 31314 Summit Grove Lane, in Spring, Texas.
