Grace Carone Smeriglio, age 90, died Thursday, November 11. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Frank, and was the devoted mother of Maria (Kevin) Mulhair, cherished grandmother of Timothy, Patrick, Christopher, Brian, Mark, Andrew, Caroline, and Stephanie. Dear sister of Dominick (Jean) Carone, sister in law to late Rocco (Elizabeth) Smeriglio, Rosaria (late Dario) Orlando, Margherita (late Gaetano) Anno, loving aunt and cousin to many. She was proud to have taught English at the Ogden School in Chicago, as one of the founding International Baccalaureate Program instructors, with many wonderful colleagues. She loved all of her friends dearly, and enjoyed spending her time in their company. A memorial Funeral mass will be held Wednesday, November 24 at 11am at St. Pascal Church, 3935 N. Melvina, Chicago. Entombment St. Joseph Cemetery.
