Guadalupe Carrillo passed away on Monday, April 17, 2023.  Born August 7, 1954 to Antonio Sanchez Medina and Dolores Lucero Cantu.

Guadalupe Carrillo is survived by her children Carmen Gonzalez, Carlos Gonzalez, Richard Gonzalez, Julian Gonzalez,  Antonio Gonzalez, as well as her 18 grandchildren.

She was born in Monterrey, Mexico and later moved to Houston, Texas. Grandma loved to be around family. She had a passion for sewing, singing, and making everyone around her smile. As long as you played her a country song, she was the happiest woman on earth. She could light up any room she was in and make you laugh in an instant. She was kind, giving, and very wise. If you met her, you would never forget her. Neither would she, she'd make sure to keep in touch with you and know that she loves and cares for you. She spent her life surrounded by family and close friends till the very end. She left her mark everywhere around this world with all the hearts she's touched and won over.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 from 12 pm until 2pm. Darst Funeral Home will host on behalf of Graceful Memorial Chapel. Chapel is located at 796 Russell Palmer Rd, Kingwood, TX 77339.  All floral arrangements should be delivered to the Darst Chapel.
