Harvey Wayne Schultz

December 22, 1945 - May 18, 2022

Harvey Wayne Schultz, 76, passed away on May 18 ^th , 2022.  He was born in Hufsmith, Texas, on December 22,1945 to Herbert Schultz and Irene (Krahn) Schultz.  He attended Trinity Lutheran Church and School in Klein, Texas, and graduated from Klein High School in 1964.  Harvey enlisted in the US Marines in 1966 and proudly served in the Vietnam War.  He worked jobs in construction and pipeline prior to becoming an HVAC technician for Klein ISD, where he retired after more than 20 years.

Family was a top priority for Harvey.  He raised his two daughters as a single parent.  He also helped to raise his stepson and stepdaughter and continued to be a presence in their lives.  He was very close with his siblings and proud to be part of such a loving family.  He loved classic cars, enjoyed working on vehicles and watching sports.

Harvey is preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Irene Schultz, and brothers Donald Schultz and infant Leonard Schultz.

Harvey is survived by his daughters Rebecca Schultz Calhoun, Katrina Schultz (Thomas Jones), stepson Brad (Amber) Barron, stepdaughter Janet Orosco; grandchildren Jordyn Calhoun, Noah Calhoun, Devin Orosco, Dillon Orosco, Bradly Barron, Kayla Barron, Haley Barron; sister Erline (Bobby) Klein, brothers Chester Schultz and Russel (Donna) Schultz; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
