Obituary

Matthew 11: 28-30
Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls.  For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.

Hunter Ryan Gillespie was carried away by angels on June 12, 2023 at the young age of 38. He came into this world on August 18, 1984 in Beaumont, Texas to Lesley Zagone Diller and Walter Gillespie (deceased). Ryan followed his own path by living a wayfarer life. He was very creative and had a passion for writing poetry, song lyrics and creating music. Gwar was one of Ryan's favorite bands of the metal genre but he loved and listened to all kinds of music.

Ryan is survived by his son, Raevyn Hallier, sister Heather Perez and husband Daniel, brother Charles Heath Davis and wife Melany. He adored his nieces and nephews Shira Davis, Jacalyn and Christian Cruz, James Jones, Xzavier and Izaelya Perez and great nephew Benjamin Davis.
Ryan was gifted with bonus family, a stepfather he admired John Allen Diller (deceased),  two stepsisters, Michelle Diller and Elizabeth Ayala and husband Salvador, their children, Sal, Natalie and Naomi. He shared his love of music with his stepbrother, John Welden Diller and wife Jennifer and their children Evelyn and Emily. Ryan was blessed to discover a half-brother, Robert Justin Hernandez, daughter Rain and sister, Carrie Holleman Shamblin. They met once and enjoyed lots of phone conversations. Along with his mother and siblings his memory will live on through numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Henry and Joan Zagone, niece Madison Davis and cousin Derek Zagone.

Thanks to Ryan's aunts Gillian Ford, Christene Zagone, Jacalyn Patranella and Marian Sauls family and friends will enjoy Ryan's favorite meal, his Nana's pasta and suga on Sunday, July 23, 2023 from 12:30-1:45. A remembrance of love will be held at 2pm, Cove Community Building, 5735 S FM 565, Cove, TX 77523.

Ecclesiastes 12:7  And the dust returns to the earth as it once was, and the life breath returns to God who gave it.
