J acqulin Roe was born in Kansas City, Kansas on March 21, 1948 to Percy and Louise Williams. She was one of six children. Her siblings
include Percy Jr. Williams, Ronald Williams, Van Williams, Joan Williams, Delores Williams and Barbara Williams. She is survived by two of her siblings.
In 1978 Jackie welcomed her first son into this world, Quincy Roe. Six years later she welcomed her second son, Matthew Roe.
She loved being a grandmother to her three granddaughters Madisyn (14), Rhyan (10) and Clarke Roe (4).
Her passion in life was family. She was extremely family oriented.
Her hobbies and interest included shopping, cooking and politics.
She loved school and attended Emporia State while earning her Master's degree in Early Childhood Education. Jackie followed her passion to teach in the St. Louis public school district for over 33 years. The amount of lives she has touched over time are too numerous to count. She was always selflessly giving.
Jackie was a woman of strong faith. She gave her life to the Lord as a young woman. She always instilled Godly ways in her family, children and grandchildren.
On June 6, 2020 Jackie lost the battle with a rare form of cancer. She will always be remembered and adored as a strong resilient woman.
Today we celebrate her life and go forward knowing without a doubt she is with her siblings and God.
