Obituary
On Thursday, May 13th, 2021, Javier Martinez, loving husband and brother passed away at the age of 48. Javier was born December 18, 1972 in San Benito, Texas to Antonio Martinez and Consuelo Martinez.
He received his high school diploma from San Benito High School in 1994 and later attended ITT Technical school with a major in computer science. Through his lifetime he was employed by Spring Branch School District, the City of Houston, and USIC. On December 5, 2009, he married Kailene Robinson and enjoyed the company of his loyal Pooh and Lil Jr.
Javier loved people, helping people, and making people laugh! He combined his outgoing personality with the love of motorcycles, cooking, and music. His favorite thing to do was cook for others and watch them enjoy his food whether it was tacos, grilled food, or his special secret salsa! He was known for his quick wit and humor, infectious smile and compassionate spirit.
Javier was preceded in death by his father, Antonio and his mother, Consuelo.
He is survived by his wife, Kailene, his step daughters Kelly and Kim. He is also survived by his beloved older brother Arnulfo Martinez and his sister in law Roxanne Ward as well as his younger sister Rachel Martinez and his brother in law Awais Mahmood, both from Houston, TX.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 28, 2021 from 2:00pm until 4:00pm at the Cypress Creek Christian Community Center, 6823 Cypresswood Dr. Spring, Texas 77379. A Celebration of Life Reception will be held from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at Bear Creek Park, 3535 War memorial Dr. Houston, Texas 77084 at Pavilion 6. Location is further down by the trails where the animals used to be. Flowers may be sent to the Cypress Creek Christian Community Center or donations made to Kailene Robinson or Arnulfo Martinez.
