Jerry Don Bullock of Houston, Texas passed away on Wednesday, February 2, 2022, in his home with loved ones near, at the age of 80. He was born November 14, 1941 in Lubbock, Texas to JT and Mildred Bullock. Jerry spent much of his life in Odessa, Texas. There he attended Ector High School, met, and later married, Helen Stephens on April 16, 1961 and together they raised three children: Susan, Tina and Terry.

Jerry was a reliable man who sacrificed and always worked hard to provide for his family. He worked for Energas in west Texas for a number of years before making a career change and relocating later in life. He worked for Joe Myers Ford in Houston until he retired. He remained a Ford pickup man. He enjoyed being with his growing family, spending time in their RV, watching western movies, the Houston Texans, and catching up over a cup of coffee with friends on occasion.

Jerry was a loving husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Those in his life would say that he was quite the character, often making people laugh. Although sometimes a man of fewer words, he had a big heart and a soft spot for his family, often stating in his own way, that family is everything. Jerry was a good man who loved his family, and we loved him. We will miss him until we see him again.

Those left to cherish his memory are his children; Susan Renae Williamson and husband Dean of Clovis, New Mexico, Tina Michelle Bullock Buford of Houston, Texas, and Terry Lynn Bullock and wife Kristi of Fentress, Texas; six grandchildren, Savannah Wade and husband Ben, Logan Hardin, Stephen Williamson and wife Michaela, Michaela Buford, Briar Bullock, and Wyatt Bullock; and three great-grandchildren, Adelinn, Canyon, and Bella.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Helen, brother Robert Bullock and sister Shirley Darley.
