Jimmy Ray Mitchell, 81 passed away on April 9, 2022, at his home in Tomball, Texas.  Jimmy was born to AJ and Louise Mitchell on November 5, 1940, in Ardmore, Oklahoma.

In January of 1958 he joined the US Navy and served until February of 1964.  He married Brenda, his wife of 59 years on January 25, 1963.

He enjoyed fishing, Nascar, classic cars and his family.

He is survived by his wife Brenda Mitchell, Son David and wife Kim Mitchell, daughter Nikki Mayfield and significant other Joey Sion, daughter Mindy and husband Bret Coward; brothers; Larry and wife Barbara Mitchell, Jodie Mitchell; along with several grandchildren; Danielle Smith, Emily Mitchell, John McClinton, Cody McDaniel, Chance McDaniel, Chris McDaniel, Chris Alexander, Kara Hale, Kaitlyn Moore, Kris Mayfield, Casey Coward, Kenzie Coward, and Tyler Coward.  Great Grandchildren Llad McDaniel, Kristine McClinton, Naomi McDaniel and Mary Lynn Hale.  Nieces and nephew; Jamie Mitchell, Melissa Wisniewski and Ashley Butler. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Gary Mitchell, son Matthew Mitchell and granddaughter Kristie Lynn Mitchell.
