In Loving Memory of Jodi Smith Goodell

Jodi, a cherished mother, sister, wife, dear friend, and adoring grandmother, peacefully departed this world on November 1, 2023. Born to Patrick and Gladys Smith on April 23, 1955, Jodi was raised in a loving home alongside her baby brother, Max. She was a beacon of love to all fortunate enough to know her from all the different chapters of her life. Jodi faced two valiant battles with cancer, finding solace in the comforting embrace of her savior, Jesus, in heaven.

In the Spring of 1990, Jodi and Richard exchanged vows in Singapore, embarking on a joyous journey of marriage that spanned 33 beautiful years. After years of faithfully waiting and praying, the Goodell's welcomed a baby girl into their family, Aimee Lee. Jodi's proudest accomplishment, among many, was raising her daughter.

Jodi's magnetic charm and authentic kindness formed bonds that transcended borders. Whether helping others find homes in The Woodlands, keeping up with old friends from Singapore, or reliving memories with classmates from her school days, Jodi's generosity of spirit touched hearts across the globe. Jodi had an innate ability to weave words into captivating tales that held listeners in rapt attention. Jodi's stories were not just entertainment; they were a legacy of shared moments that will echo in the hearts of her listeners for generations. Her sense of humor and ability to make everyone feel loved, was a gift she gave to us all.

Left to embrace the cherished memories are her devoted husband, Richard; her dear brother, Max, and sister-in-law, Tasha; her beloved daughter, Aimee, son-in-law Kyle; and the radiant light of her life, grandson Houston.
