Joel E. Barlow, 78, passed from his earthly life on January 4 ^th , 2022 after a lengthy illness. Both Mother and Father, Lois Smith and Charles Barlow, predeceased him.

He was born June 9, 1943 in Bay City, Texas, where he attended School. He worked for Westend Storage for a number of years up to the time of his death.

He is survived by his wife, Laura Jean Barlow, and four children from Laura's previous marriage: Laura Lynn Morton of Midland, Texas, Julia Glynn Colla, currently in Scotland, Christopher Farrell Brown of Houston, Texas and Kasandra Marie Kalbow of Cypress, Texas.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be scheduled in the near future.
