John William Rogers Sr. Came into this world along with his twin brother on July 20,1935 to John Thomas Rogers  and Joanna Haney Rogers.

He is survived by his loving  wife  Christine Rogers of 66 years, three of his four children Barbara Alford and  husband David of Pasadena TX,  John William Rogers Jr. and wife Maria of Euless TX, and Patti Wright of Sanger TX,  11 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild and a host of extended family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, numerous brothers, 2 sisters,  and his second daughter Nancy Jo Rogers.

His life was full of adventures, travels, and living for his lord and savior. His work here on earth is done and he is home.
