Jose Luis Gonzalez, 62, passed away on March 11, 2021 in Baytown, Texas. He was born on October 11, 1958 in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico to Jesus Gonzalez and Maria del Rosario Prtillo de Gonzalez. He went to San Jacinto College North and became a master of welding. He is left behind by three children; Victoria M. Calderon, Cesar Calderon and Janifer Rayes-Antonio (Lucas); grandchildren, Christian J.J. Pena, Christina A.E. Calderon, Christoffer Z.L. Sifuentes and Marcelo Frutiz, Jr.; and great-grandchild, Hunter J. Pena.
Jose is preceded in death by both of his parents and his wife Maria I. Calderon; brother Jesus Gonzales and Grandchildren Cain, Able Frutiz, Maria Alejandrina Reyes, and Jorge Alonzo Reyes.
Jose worked at NOV Tuboscope on Sheldon Road for many years. He was also a frame worker and traveled with his parents to several states. Jose loved traveling with his family and loved the outdoors. Fishing was one of the enjoyments of his life.
