Joseph Edward (Jody ) Jamail

22 September 1956 – 20 April 2022

Jody was born on the 22 ^nd of September 1956, the 6 ^th son to Rose S. and Joseph N. Jamail in Houston, Tx.

As a young boy growing up in Bellaire, Tx., he was a gifted athlete particularly in the sport of baseball.

He served his country in the US Navy from May 1980 to May 1983 on the USS Kitty Hawk, and in the

Naval reserves until 1986.

He was predeceased by his parents, Rose and Joe Jamail, his brother Gary and nephew Chuck Jamail.

He is survived by his spouse of 25 years, Laurie, brothers Jim (Kathy), Larry, Douglas, Robert (Monetta)

sister Mary Beth and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a later date at the Houston National Cemetery

10410 Veterans Memorial Drive. In lieu of customary remembrances the family asks that if you wish you

would offer a prayer that our God will continue to caress Jody in His loving arms and the glow of love in

His Face.
